The government seat of Hamilton County in Ohio, United States is where the city known as the “The Queen of the West” – Cincinnati. In 1788, Israel Ludlow, Robert Patterson, and Matthias Denman purchased the 800 acres that comprised its humble beginnings. Its name is derived from Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, a 5th-century BC Roman soldier, and hero who led the republic’s army to victory over invaders. He symbolized self-sacrifice,  patriotic loyalty, integrity, and civic virtue that represented the new Americans the promise of democracy and the possibility of overcoming tyranny. In 1819, Cincinnati was officially recognized as a city and as time went by, it has become the most densely populated city in the United States and a major center of industry and commerce.

As of 2020, this city population has reached 306,487 becoming the 3rd largest city in Ohio and the 64th largest city in the United States, it is currently increasing at the rate of 0.64% annually and its population has increased by 3.21% since the recent census in 2010. According to the most recent ACS, the racial composition of Cincinnati was: White: 50.28%, Black or African American: 42.72%, Two or more races: 3.57%, Asian: 2.01%, Other race: 1.22%, Native American: 0.11%, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander: 0.08%.

Cincinnati was huge in brewery business and it has the biggest Oktoberfest in the country. They also have Cincinnati style chili which is popular with locals where they add it on their spaghetti. They are somewhat conservative and slow to changes compared to larger cities but that is changing eventually. The impressive architectural history is well-preserved and enriched throughout the years. It has awesome local and regional jazz and music culture and unique and wonderful city views from several hilltop parks and neighborhoods.
